A constraint from artist The Means: create a "yes, but" meme using only four colours, no black, no white. The challenge landed at a particular moment — after the peak, after the crash, in the long middle period when the people who remained were working out what they had actually signed up for.
The series holds the phone up to a sequence of self-justifications. Minted on Shape at a moment when Shape was still finding its footing. The collection won an award on Shape. The prize was $SHAPE coin — which, given that one of the yes/buts had been about memecoins, was either ironic or inevitable.
